Where rates live
Each performer has a base rate and (optionally) a rate floor. As a manager you can adjust these from /manager/performers/[id] → Pricing, provided the performer has granted you pricing access.
Rate floor vs. base rate
- Base rate is what shows on the performer's profile as a starting figure.
- Rate floor is the minimum the performer will accept. Booking requests below the floor can still come in, but the system flags them and lets the performer respond with a counter-offer at the floor or above.
Effects on search
- Rates do not directly affect search ranking. Reviews, badges, and tier do.
- An organizer's typical fee range is matched against the performer's base rate to surface relevant performers first.
Best practice
- Set a base rate that reflects a typical 90-minute set in your performer's home market.
- Set a floor at the lowest you'd accept after travel and prep. The platform won't auto-decline below it, but it gives the performer a clear baseline to counter from.
